Freightliner V Series

Spring Training Baseball was always on our bucket list. Now we've completed 2 seasons of Spring Training in Florida. We've learned a quite a bit and heard a lot of questions and unexpected experiences from first time visitors. So this week we're sharing our tips for taking in Baseball Spring Training.

A Few Things We Forgot to Mention...

The teams do move from time to time. Before moving to the facilities in West Palm, the Astros trained in Kissimmee, Florida and the Atlanta Braves used to train in Orlando before moving to Venice, Florida. Those previous facilities are not currently being used as Spring Training facilities. And before Roger Dean Stadium was shared between the St Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins, it was shared by the Cardinals and the Montreal Expos. It's a good idea to confirm the current locations of spring training exercises before you book your trip.

If you are a fan of aisle seats, you might want to take a look at the stadium you are visiting on Google Earth before you select your tickets. A couple of times this year, we've purchased "aisle seats" that had no aisle running next to them. This is particularly true sometimes of the sections on the end of the seating areas. If an aisle seat is important to you, it's unusual to run into this issue, but something to be aware of.

Folks with mobility issues can take advantage of free golf cart style shuttles that run between the parking areas and the stadiums in Jupiter and West Palm Beach.
