After a day of walking all around downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, we came across a fork in the road... actually, a fork in the main drag... Parkway. And like a shining beacon, right there in between the 2 prongs of the fork, we found Gatlinburg Brewing Company.
Gatlinburg Brewing is a locally owned company specializing in producing craft beer and brick oven pizza. They have a second location in nearby Sevierville, Tennessee.
During our visit, we had 12 beers to choose from (all made here) along with seltzers, ciders, craft cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic drinks. The menu consisted of a nice variety of styles and flavors.
Stacie chose a flight of 4 samplers: Don't Feed the Bears American Brown Ale, Road Trip Double Hazy IPA, G=BC2 Smoked Pepper Porter and Crusty Eyed Rat Dog Hazy Pale Ale. Tom selected a pint of the Queen's Brew Nitro Dry Irish Stout. We enjoyed everything we tried.
And then there is the pizza! They made our pizza right in front of us and cooked it in their brick oven... also right in front of us. It was perfectly cooked and delicious.
Seating options include bar and table top with lots of windows to let in the natural light.
Service was excellent. We will definitely stop in to Gatlinburg Brewing again next time we're in town!
