RVing to Alaska: Threading the Needle

Journey to Alaska: Episode 3

Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Lewisville, Texas

Published:

Our ultimate RV road trip continues as we drive our motorhome from South Florida to Alaska. In this episode, we thread the needle avoiding storms as we drive from Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Lewisville, Texas to have our motorhome's annual maintenance completed at NIRVC before we head north.

We knew when we signed up for a "Spring" Alaskan caravan, that we would need to be extra mindful of the weather and potentially work our route around Spring storms. We always say that our plans are written in pencil, and you'll see some of that in this video.

We also share our thoughts on interstate driving vs US highway routes, and show you one of the worst stretches of road we've ever driven on! Do NOT drive your RV where we did!

We appreciate you being along for our Journey to Alaska! If you missed either of the first two episodes, you can find them here:
