On November 3, 2023 we celebrated our 5th Nomadiversary which means that we have now been living in our RV full-time for 5 years!
We haven't talked much, recently, about full time RV life. We've been focused more lately on sharing the beautiful places and interesting destinations that we find along our travels. But this seemed like the perfect time to share an update regarding the expectations we had of fulltime RV life before we made the change in our lifestyle vs the reality of full-time living that we have experienced over the past 5 years.
In looking back through our video archives on our YouTube Channel, we happened across a gem of a video that we filmed during the summer of 2018. In that video, we shared the 10 reasons why we wanted to become full-time RVers.
During that time in our lives, we were living in our sticks and bricks home of 10 years, running a business that we had launched 14 years earlier, and felt stuck in a rut where every day seemed to be the same as the one before it.
We were looking to shake up our lives and live life a bit differently. Did we accomplish that?
We wanted to...
In this video, we flash back to clips from that 2018 video to see what we were thinking and then give our 2023 thoughts on how things have worked out on each of those points. Did the reality match our expectations? Watch the video to find out!
